As of early 2013, Lennar Homes (www.lennar.com) is secretly repairing failing roofing and/or landscaping mistakes which create flooding/pooling of water which they left behind in the aftermath of completing new development at POTOMAC MARK PLACE and ROANOKE SPRINGS DRIVE in Ruskin Florida 33570.
The only way to have them repair the roofing tiles and/or correct landscaping to properly flow/channel rain water AWAY from one's home is to have a LAWYER send them a letter requesting it.
Homeowner's in this neighborhood were required to sign a NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT with Lennar Homes, in return to having the rework completed at no charge, despite the fact that Lennar Homes screwed up in the first place.
What's truly sad is that the window of opportunity (warranty) on the majority of these homes is nearing expiration. Homeowners have a right to know and have the shoddy work by Lennar Homes repaired asap.

This Story/Email was sent to me by a Potential Lennar Homeowner:
I came across your website and understand your frustration. I am one of the fortunate homeowners who had and inspection after some alarming items we found after walking the home (Village Builders-Spring TX-Auburn Lakes), and before we purchased the home. I could spend all afternoon going point by point on all the items, they are endless and severe. None more than the pictures we have of 11/12 year old kids hanging tile at our house. We were first alarmed when we walked in on the same age kids hanging drywall, we complained and a half hearted attempt to correct the joints and 'waves' in the wall left some improvement, but didn't fully correct the issue. Lennar states its against company policy to have kids on the job site, but many residents who built in this community have complained of the same thing. The response was "we didn't witness it" so the issue just gets kicked down the road. Then came the kids laying the tile, and this time we took pictures (yes-I have PICTURES OF THESE KIDS DOING MY TILE WORK!!!) The professional inspector noted in his report that the quality of craftsmanship of this home was poor, and done to "not better than an amateur status". The walls are cracking and the walls have ripples, as is the ceiling, almost every door frame is cracked, the garage floor is cracked, (with an active crack that is moving up the wall),the tile is uneven, the walls are crooked, and on,and on,and on!! I have over 133 pictures that tell the story. I hope others don't have to experience the same issues we did. Its time to tell this story...and I will gladly share it so that others can be informed on what is in store for them should they build with Village/Lennar. As Published In: Mission District Condo Owners Recover $650,000 for Faulty Construction In Less than One Year from the Date of Filing a Lawsuit April 18, 2012 San Francisco, Calif. (2012) - Owners of residences at a condominium building in the Mission District have recouped $650,000 for numerous construction defects, including water intrusion through the roof, windows, decks, siding and doors and failures in the plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment. The 8-unit residential and 3-unit commercial building at the 3365 20th Street Homeowners Association reached a settlement in mediation after only 7 months from the date of the filing of the complaint in Superior Court. The recovery is being funded by insurance companies for the builder, general contractor and subcontractors. These units were built in 2001 by R.A.M. Development, Inc. and sold at the height of the market as luxury condominiums by the 3365 20th Associates, LLC. "Most builders today are setting up their developments as Limited Liability Company (LLC's), folding the company after the project is completed," said attorney Thomas E. Miller of The Miller Law Firm. "Oftentimes, condo owners don't realize that insurance does exist to cover construction defects even after the builder disappears, declares bankruptcy, or just walks away. Many times on smaller projects the developer requires its general contractor to get insurance. And that insurance may have exclusions affecting the coverage. Had we waited any longer to bring this claim, all the general contractors insurance would have been exhausted on another lawsuit filed against it months earlier. It pays to act quickly." Stephanie Hall, Vice President of the Homeowners Association, states, "We are thrilled that this settlement occurred in less than one year from the time we filed our complaint. It proves that the court system recognizes claims, which can be resolved in an efficient manner. Our Association will now be able to fix the defects that affected our daily lives." Thomas E. Miller and his partner and daughter, Rachel Miller, of The Miller Law Firm (www.ConstructionDefects.com) have recovered over $500 million on behalf of California Associations with construction defects, and are the co-authors of "Home and Condo Defects: A Consumer Guide to Faulty Construction," (Seven Locks Press, 2012), available online at www.amazon.com. Candlestick Condo Owners Recover $5.2 Million for Life Safety Dangers and Faulty Construction Dave Holland, President of the Homeowners Association, states, "We are very pleased with this settlement. It provides us with enough to fix the problems, and reinforce our homeowners' investments in this building. If we did not pursue a claim against the responsible parties, our families would have been saddled with a truly enormous economic burden." But if you are in the market for a new home and you are gonna check out some models this weekend.... Then I highly recommend that you spend a few minutes of your time and really take in the information on my website. MyLennarLemon.org These problems are nationwide with Lennar Homes. There are posts on my site from all over the country. Personally, I would not let my friends and/or family buy a new home from Lennar. They build defective homes, and then they fail to honor the warranty. And again, I welcome anyone who wishes to take a tour of our defective Lennar Home. Spend some time on the website, and you will get a good feel for what is going on with Lennar homes and their subsidiaries. If you decide to move forward with a purchase, make sure you hire a sharp inspector. I'd refer you towww.ashi.org to find an ASHI certified inspector in your area. Have your inspector look at the inspection report on our website. Those are the kinds of things you need to look for, including getting in the attic and checking the roof trusses. This is the biggest investment of most people’s lives. You should have enough information from our website. Why buy a problem when there are great builders that build great homes and take care of their customers when problems come up. Lennar Homes is not in the group with the great builders! Read some of the stories about ruined lives and the stress Lennar Homes creates within a family. Do you want to buy and American Dream or a Lennar Homes Nightmare? If you must buy a Lennar home, I recommend buying one from an existing homeowner. Get the place inspected and decide how much to pay for the home based on what you need to fix. It will also provide you with the opportunity to have everything fixed. If you buy from Lennar, take a look at our website and think about what buyers go through to get Lennar to fix things. Some people have been battling for years and years. Once you sign the contract with Lennar, you must close on the home, even if it is defective. Lennar has a "right to repair" but there is not a time limit nor any Lemon Law on how many time they can come back to fix your home. You are stuck! HELLO EVERYONE.... A Beautiful Day in the BayArea.
I just added some very useful information on my website. MyLennarLemon.org Please stop by and check it out: THE MILLER LAW FIRM 800-403-3332
